Which size suits your situation?

Our range runs from compact homes with one bedroom to more spacious models with two bedrooms or an extra guest room or study. The floor areas on this page are external dimensions: the length times the width of the home. The living area inside is shown per model on its detail page, with the area of each room.

Which model fits depends on the occupant, the space available, the layout you want and the rules for your property. Someone who lives alone and brings few belongings will find a compact model enough. If two people live there, or someone regularly comes to stay, a more spacious model is worth it.

What fits in your garden?

Do not start with the model, but with the space that is left. Measure your back garden and subtract what is already there, such as a shed, conservatory or canopy. You also need space around the home: to walk round it, for the wheelie bin and for a terrace.

A garden eight metres wide seems enough for a home seven metres wide, but then it stands from boundary to boundary. In a narrow garden, an elongated model often fits better, such as the Zwaluw at 10 by 4.2 metres. With larger models it is especially important to check in advance what is possible on your property, in planning terms and in practice. So do the permit check first, or discuss your situation with an adviser.

One or two bedrooms

Our models come with different layouts. There are versions with one bedroom, two bedrooms or an extra guest room or study. Each model page shows the current layout.

People who search for two bedrooms usually mean a place for visitors to stay, or a separate bedroom for a couple. Sometimes a larger living room with a sofa bed is the better solution. Discuss it during the consultation: what fits depends on who comes to stay and how often.

Accessibility and layout

All models are single-storey. The floor plan of each model is on its detail page, with the dimensions in millimetres. Three things are worth checking before you choose.

• The space in the bathroom. Someone who walks well now may use a rollator later. Check whether there is space next to the toilet and whether the shower is step-free.
• The route from the bedroom to the toilet. That is the route walked at night. The shorter, the better.
• Which way the doors open. A door that blocks the hallway is a daily nuisance with a walking frame. The drawings show which way each door opens.

What is included in the starting price?

Our homes are delivered complete, according to the specification of the chosen model. The model page shows exactly what is included as standard. The starting price is for the home itself, including transport to your address. The foundation and the connections to water, electricity and sewerage come on top; those costs depend on your garden. Options can also vary per situation. You receive a clear quotation before you place the order.

The starting prices are shown with each home above, including and excluding VAT. What is and is not included in the price is explained in what a garden home costs. Whether a model can be placed on your property without a permit differs per address; the permit check gives a first indication.
