Accessibility statement

This is an English translation for your convenience. The Dutch version of this page is legally binding.

Zorgwoning.nl B.V. wants everyone to be able to use this website properly, including people who use assistive tools such as a screen reader or keyboard navigation. We aim to meet the international accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.1, level AA and actively take them into account when building the site.

1. Measures we have taken

At present we apply, among other things, the following:

• clear, semantic HTML with one logical heading structure per page, and recognisable landmarks (header, main content, footer);
• a "skip to content" link and full operation by keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline;
• text contrast that meets the AA requirement (at least 4.5:1 for normal text), also on coloured backgrounds;
• text that scales when zooming in and a layout that works on mobile, tablet and desktop;
• alt texts for images and a text alternative for the map in the permit check;
• in the permit check, new steps and questions are announced to screen readers and the focus automatically moves to the right place.

2. Known limitations

We are not quite there yet. Known points for attention:

• technical floor plan drawings are shown as images; we also provide the main features (such as floor area and layout) as text;
• the site has not (yet) been independently assessed by an external party;
• we are continuously developing and may temporarily add elements that have not yet been fully optimised.

We are resolving these points step by step.
