The Albatros 60

With the Albatros 60, the collection takes on the character of a spacious, full-sized home. The extra metres have not simply been added to the living room, but used for a comfortable layout with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet and a generous living space. The bedrooms are grouped on one side, while living, cooking and dining together form a large, open living area.

That makes the Albatros 60 suitable for residents who deliberately choose a garden home (mantelzorgwoning), but want to keep as much of the space and comfort of their current home as possible.

Room for a familiar way of life

Moving to a garden home often means moving somewhere smaller. With the Albatros 60, that does not have to mean saying goodbye to everything that makes a house personal. The living room has plenty of space for a roomy seating area and a proper dining table, and the kitchen is part of the same open living area. So there is room to eat together, welcome family or sit at the table with the grandchildren.

The second bedroom makes the home flexible: an extra bedroom, hobby room, study or guest room.

Light shapes the architecture

The generous glazed sections are characteristic of the Albatros Collection, and in this model they come into their own even more because of the greater length. The transparent corner by the living room gives a view of the garden from various positions and brings in an abundance of natural light. The greenery outside thus becomes part of the interior.

The warm timber cladding contrasts with the dark, clean-lined frame of the home. A sedum roof strengthens the green character and lets the architecture connect naturally with the garden.

Comfort for today and later

The Albatros 60 is entirely single-storey and designed with comfortable, future-proof living in mind. The bedrooms, the bathroom and toilet, the kitchen and the living room are close together and logically connected. That makes the home pleasant while someone still lives fully independently, and suitable when more support is needed later on.

That is exactly what we think matters. A garden home (mantelzorgwoning) does not only need to become an option once intensive care is necessary; it can be an attractive choice of home much earlier.

Carefully built, quickly installed

The Albatros 60 is also largely built in our own factories, so that we carry out much of the work in advance and monitor quality during production. Once the garden and the technical connections have been prepared, the home can in many cases be installed on site within one day. No months of building work in the back garden, but a carefully prepared process in which the home arrives largely finished.
